Online: Origin software may also be ordered online using our secure server. Payment must be made by credit or debit card. To be valid, all online purchases must be confirmed in writing by Silverdale Scientific.

Carriage: Most software is delivered electronically by email or download. Hardware items are shipped by next day courier (UK mainland only). same day or earlier delivery can be arranged at extra cost.
Please note, goods cannot be shipped to PO boxes. Outside the UK, carriage is charged at cost
VAT: VAT is charged at the current rate at the day of invoice. VAT is not chargeable if:
- Goods are being shipped outside the UK, but within the EC if your organisation is VAT registered and you have supplied a valid VAT number
- Goods are being shipped outside the EC
- You supply a valid UK VAT exemption certificate
Returns: Returns will not be accepted without a RMA number.
Contact Customer Services info@silverdalescientific.co.uk for Returns Authorisation. Goods incorrectly ordered may be authorised for return, subject to a handling charge of 15%.
If the goods returned are not in a pristine re-saleable condition or are incomplete, additional repackaging charges will be incurred.
Under no circumstances will non-faulty software returns be accepted where the software license has been installed. Working evaluation versions of all software we sell are available, satisfy yourself as to the software suitability for your purposes before installing a live license
Warranty: All goods carry a minimum of 12 months return to base warranty. To claim under warranty, call to obtain a RMA number then return the goods carriage paid with all manuals and accessories, together with a copy of our original invoice. We will replace, repair or issue a credit to the value of the purchase price. Liability is restricted to goods we have supplied provided they have not been damaged, misused or tampered with. You are responsible for returning the goods to us; we will bear the cost of returning the goods after repair or replacement to the original delivery address.
